The Inclusion and Organisational Development Manager at the Health Research Authority in Manchester will serve as the primary expert on inclusion and organisational development, focusing on enhancing representation, retention, and progression for equality groups within the workforce. Reporting to the Head of Learning and Knowledge Management, the manager will collaborate with various teams to develop and implement strategic responses, ensuring alignment with policies promoting an inclusive and diverse workplace. Their responsibilities include advising on inclusive practices, utilizing data to establish priorities and measurable outcomes, and fostering a culture of fairness and respect that enhances employee experience and service quality in the health and social care research sector.

This role involves monitoring progress against benchmarks, addressing systemic inequalities through policy design, and collaborating internally and externally to incorporate best practices. The Inclusion and OD Manager will be pivotal in shaping the organisational culture, supporting the implementation of the People Strategy, and ensuring the Health Research Authority meets its public sector equality duties. They will play a crucial role in developing both organisational and individual capabilities necessary for fostering an inclusive environment.
