The London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Acute Therapies Neurology Team at Ealing Hospital. In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate with physiotherapists and a therapy technician to provide specialized therapy services to patients with neurological conditions. They will play a crucial part in a multidisciplinary team, working closely with colleagues to innovate and improve practices. The ideal applicant should have significant Band 6 experience in managing neurological conditions, demonstrate leadership abilities, and be prepared to help develop and mentor junior team members.

As an autonomous practitioner, the therapist will assess and treat their own caseload, manage referrals, and oversee the development of the inpatient Neurology Occupational Therapy service. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate patient records, leading training efforts within the team, and engaging in continuous professional development and research. The Trust is open to considering candidates in a developmental position, working towards a Band 7 role.
