The Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Senior Pharmacy Technician to join the Community Rehabilitation Service (CRS) in the Burnham and Bridgwater area, following the retirement of the current post-holder. This role involves supporting patients in their own communities to regain skills, enhance independence, and promote wellbeing. The successful candidate should have a solid background in medicines optimisation from various healthcare settings, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently, including conducting home visits. A full driving license and access to transportation are essential, along with registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council and a recognized Medicines Management qualification.

The Senior Pharmacy Technician will carry out important tasks such as post-hospital discharge medicines reconciliation and assessing medication compliance among patients while collaborating closely with healthcare professionals across various settings.
