The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cancer Improvement Project Manager to support its cancer care improvement collaborative. This role involves leading and coordinating a portfolio of change projects aimed at enhancing clinical services across various tumour groups, contributing to a modern healthcare environment. The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent experience, strong project management and organisational skills, and a proven track record in delivering quality improvement initiatives within acute healthcare settings.

The project manager will collaborate closely with clinical and operational teams, requiring high-level interpersonal skills to facilitate change and overcome resistance. The role is fixed term or available on a secondment basis until March 2026. Candidates should be motivated and capable of both independent and team-oriented work, with a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and the ability to analyse complex information for evidence-based improvements.
