Hope Citadel Healthcare CIC is seeking an experienced GP Assistant (GPA) for The Kingsway Practice and Kirkholt Medical Practice in Rochdale. The GPA will play a key role in enhancing patient experience by managing routine administrative and clinical tasks, thereby allowing GPs to focus more on patient care. Responsibilities include coding information from clinical letters, arranging patient appointments and referrals, performing basic clinical tasks such as taking blood pressure and phlebotomy, and assisting GPs in liaising with external agencies.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. The role offers flexibility, with opportunities for job sharing or part-time positions. The GPA will also be expected to adhere to confidentiality procedures and have a basic understanding of medical terminology to facilitate their duties.
