The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 8a Senior People Partner for Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. This hybrid role requires a people-centred leader to help drive the Trust’s cultural transformation and support its ambition to create an exceptional workplace. The Senior People Partner will report to the Associate Director of People and collaborate with the Hospital Executive team to focus on both immediate and long-term people priorities, enhancing employee experience, workforce planning, and recruitment strategies while ensuring a positive workplace culture that directly impacts patient care.

Candidates will be expected to leverage people data to identify trends and implement recommendations for positive change. The role involves providing professional expertise in employee relations and coaching teams to manage risks effectively. The Trust values kindness, inclusion, and compassion, and seeks individuals who are passionate about driving change through people-focused solutions. Previous NHS experience is desirable but not essential, and the position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the workforce and the communities served by the hospital.

More about the NHS
The National Health Service (NHS) is a cornerstone of healthcare in the United Kingdom, established in 1948 with the simple yet profound principle of providing healthcare to all citizens, free at the point of use. This revolutionary system aimed to ensure that access to medical services would not depend on an individual’s financial situation, a concept that has since become fundamental to British societal values.Learn more...
