The role of Bank B6 Community Nurse (Children's) with Central London Community Health Trust involves providing specialized nursing care to children primarily in their home, school, and nursery settings. The nurse will be part of the Children's Community Nursing Team, responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering evidence-based care to children with complex needs, including those requiring technology-dependent care like tracheostomy management and intravenous therapy. Key responsibilities include collaborating with families and other agencies to ensure holistic care delivery, promoting health education, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in safeguarding and educational initiatives within the community.

Candidates must be NMC registered nurses based in the UK, with at least six months of acute care experience. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work autonomously as part of the nursing team are essential for success in this role. Additionally, the position requires participation in team meetings, the orientation of new staff, and adherence to health and safety policies. The nature of the position is 'zero-hours' and does not offer visa sponsorship.
