Our team in Cornwall is recruiting for a Residential Practitioner, to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse service user group. If you are a BABCP registered Practitioner or HCPC registered Social Worker then we'd love to hear from you.

You will be supporting colleagues, volunteers and sessional workers providing advice and guidance, as appropriate. You will ensure care standards are maintained and service users receive the most appropriate care. Please note you will be required to work evenings and weekends. Our programme runs for 12 weeks. We offer one-to-one and group support, life skills workshops and training and education opportunities. Expert help is on hand 24 hours a day. You will be a compassionate and inspiring Residential Practitioner who has demonstrable experience of working in a residential health and social care setting and supporting substance misuse service users. We are looking for someone with the ability to connect quickly with the people we support, treating them respectfully and with dignity. You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively. It is important that you have sound knowledge and understanding of assessments, care planning, issues affecting substance users and motivational interviewing, to name a few. Benefits What we offer
