The Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Activity Coordinator for the Gloucester Ward at Thurrock Community Hospital, which specializes in functional mental health care for older adults. The role involves working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to create and implement engaging activities aimed at supporting patients with chronic mental health conditions. Responsibilities include delivering both one-on-one and group recreational activities that encompass creative, social, and physical elements, primarily within the ward setting.

Candidates should be innovative and flexible, as the position requires working on weekdays, as well as some evenings and weekends. Under the guidance of the ward manager and a registered Occupational Therapist, the coordinator will have opportunities for professional development in a supportive environment dedicated to prioritizing patient care.
