The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Band 6 Paediatric Research Nurse to join the Children's Comprehensive Research Team, with a specific interest in paediatric gastroenterology being advantageous. The role involves managing and delivering NIHR Portfolio adopted research studies, which includes identifying eligible patients, patient recruitment, and data management. The successful candidate will need strong communication, organisational skills, and a high level of autonomy, while also promoting research across the Children's directorate.

Key responsibilities include planning, scheduling, conducting interventions, recruiting and retaining participants, and providing nursing care for study participants. The Paediatric Research Nurse will collaborate with both internal and external colleagues to ensure high-quality participant care and must adhere to guidelines set forth by the Sponsor, Chief Investigator, or Principal Investigator in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Research Governance Framework.
