The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic individual for the position of Apprentice Assistant Practitioner in the imaging department at the Royal Derby Hospital. This Band 4 role involves producing high-quality diagnostic images and requires a commitment to on-the-job learning over a 2-year apprenticeship program in partnership with the University of Derby. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills to engage effectively with patients and colleagues, while also demonstrating practical abilities and a willingness to learn.

The role supports various imaging services across multiple sites, including the Emergency Department and Community Diagnostic Centres, providing essential imaging for both elective and acute care. Successful applicants will become part of a dedicated radiographic team, with opportunities for further progression in specialties such as Plain Film/Dexa and MRI.
