SW Healthcare is seeking an Independent Prescribing (IP) Paramedic for a fixed-term position at Grey Gable Surgery in Worcester. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently assessing patients in their homes and managing both acute and chronic health conditions, while collaborating with GPs and other healthcare professionals. This role emphasises proactive and patient-centered care, allowing the IP Paramedic to make a significant impact on patient health outcomes.
Key responsibilities include conducting patient assessments and clinical reviews, developing care plans, providing health education, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The IP Paramedic will also support the multidisciplinary team by ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based care, while referring patients to secondary care as necessary. Advanced clinical skills and the ability to utilize prescribing are essential components of delivering comprehensive patient care in this role.
