Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Theatre Secretary to join their Theatre administration team at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The role involves providing day-to-day administrative support to the Theatre Manager, Theatre Matron, and the wider Theatre team, with responsibilities including managing sensitive information, updating operating lists, coordinating staff meetings, and organizing training sessions. The position is offered at 37.5 hours per week, with the possibility of reduced hours or a job share for the right candidate.

The ideal applicant will be well-organized, a strong team player, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires adaptability and independent work. Strong communication skills, both internal and external (in-person, via Teams, and by telephone), are crucial for timely and accurate information dissemination. A good standard of education and excellent organisational skills are essential, while prior experience in the NHS is advantageous. Proficiency in Welsh is desirable but not mandatory, and both Welsh and English speakers are encouraged to apply.
