Clark Avenue Surgery in Cwmbran is seeking two enthusiastic Salaried GPs to join their friendly team to cover maternity leave, with positions starting in April 2025. Each role ideally involves six sessions per week, including one evening on-call session and primarily face-to-face appointments, alongside clinical triage using the AccuRx Total Triage System. The practice comprises a team of 4 GP partners, 6 salaried GPs, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 3 nurses, and 2 healthcare assistants, providing a supportive environment with low home visit numbers and opportunities for teaching GP Registrars and medical students.

The role entails delivering comprehensive healthcare services, including the diagnosis, treatment, and management of both acute and chronic conditions while participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate patient records. The GP will engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, provide training and supervision to junior medical staff, and contribute to the development of practice policies to enhance patient care. The ideal candidate should be committed to professional development and collaborative healthcare delivery, contributing positively to the overall patient experience within the practice.
