The role of Band 7 - CAMHS Intensive Outreach Team Manager in Bristol, with the Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, involves leading a multi-disciplinary team that supports young people experiencing mental health crises and those at risk of Tier 4 admission. This fixed-term position, covering maternity leave for 12 months, requires collaboration with clinical service managers and other team leaders to maintain high standards of care, utilize resources effectively, and ensure positive outcomes for service users and their families. The manager will oversee clinical interventions, manage staffing and development, ensure compliance with quality standards, and participate in continuous service improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include supervising the team's clinical work, managing performance against key indicators, maintaining operational governance, and fostering relationships with internal and external partners. The manager will also be involved in budget management, adherence to Trust policies, and supporting staff development through appraisal and training programs. This position emphasises the importance of engaging in effective communication, commitment to anti-discriminatory practices, and the promotion of collaborative care planning to enhance the mental health service delivery for children and adolescents. A part-time option of 30 hours per week may be considered.
