The East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Specialist Paediatric Dietitian to join their team at Ipswich Hospital. The role focuses on providing dietetic services to children aged 4-16 years with complex feeding difficulties, including those who require home enteral tube feeding. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of patients, attending outpatient clinics and conducting home visits, as well as collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams within specialist schools and the wider community. The specialist will also provide supervision to junior staff and contribute to the development and evaluation of dietetic services.

Candidates should possess strong clinical skills in areas such as nutrition support, healthy eating, and allergies, and be comfortable managing a busy workload within a supportive paediatric dietetics team of 23 dietitians. The position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of children with specific dietary needs while continuing professional development in a dynamic and well-resourced environment.

More about the NHS
The National Health Service (NHS) is a cornerstone of healthcare in the United Kingdom, established in 1948 with the simple yet profound principle of providing healthcare to all citizens, free at the point of use. This revolutionary system aimed to ensure that access to medical services would not depend on an individual’s financial situation, a concept that has since become fundamental to British societal values.Learn more...
