The Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a passionate and experienced Allied Health Professional (AHP) to assume the role of Head of AHP Workforce in Preston. This senior position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the AHP workforce strategy, ensuring that the workforce is equipped for future challenges. Candidates should be HCPC registered AHPs, skilled in analyzing workforce data, managing projects, and driving change, while also being capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. The role necessitates strong networking abilities and the aptitude to influence stakeholders both within and outside the organisation.

Reporting to the Director of AHPs, the Head of AHP Workforce will work closely with senior AHP leaders, the LSCFT workforce team, and collaborators across the North West, contributing to the staffing and operational needs of various AHP professions, including art therapy, dietetics, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, podiatry, and speech and language therapy, within mental health and community physical health services.
