We are seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Decontamination Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the specialised decontamination of flexible endoscopes, working closely with clinical teams. Your duties will include disassembly, cleaning, disinfecting, and reassembling medical endoscopes, ensuring compliance with our Quality Management Systems and National Guidelines.

Reprocess flexible endoscopes and maintain accurate records. Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols. Assist with the collection, delivery, and safe transport of medical devices. Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines

Location:
Multiple KFM sites (including Denmark Hill, Orpington Hospital, Princess Royal University Hospital)
Hours:
Full rota over 7 days (8 am 8 pm)
Salary:
Full time £29,050 / Pro rata £17,430 per annum + up to 12% annual bonus

We are seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Decontamination Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the specialised decontamination of flexible endoscopes, working closely with clinical teams. Your duties will include disassembly, cleaning, disinfecting, and reassembling medical endoscopes, ensuring compliance with our Quality Management Systems and National Guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Reprocess flexible endoscopes and maintain accurate records
  • Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols
  • Assist with the collection, delivery, and safe transport of medical devices
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines


What Youll Need:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • A passion for patient safety and high standards


Desirable:

  • Experience in medical device decontamination
  • Knowledge of infection control and Health & Safety
