An exciting opportunity to join our Stroke Early Supported Discharge Team providing intense Stroke specific Therapy under the guidance of Registered Therapists within patients own homes and other non- acute settings.

The Band 4 Assistant Practitioner will be working alongside the MDT to provide intensive stroke specific therapy based on goals identified by the patient within their own home or other non acute placements. There will be an expectation to manage a caseload under supervision of Registered Therapists with support and training as required. This is a generic role so will include Speech and Language, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.

Whilst we try to ensure that driving is minimal throughout your working day, we do cover the whole of the Eastern localities so at times there may be a need to work across the whole patch, involving driving and lone working.

You will be a valued member of the team through our comprehensive training and induction programme and our commitment to learning and development will satisfy even the most ambitious person.


Working Pattern:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30 with some weekends and bank holidays.
