Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Paediatric Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join the Paediatric Emergency Department (PED) in Redhill. This role involves leading a team of Band 5 nurses and nursing assistants, ensuring effective day-to-day operations and setting standards for good practice. The successful candidate will collaborate with other paediatric departments and multidisciplinary teams, and after six months, will take on management responsibilities, including conducting reviews and providing support to staff.

The department promotes professional development through a structured educational program and partnerships with Brighton University and the University of Surrey. Ideal candidates are expected to demonstrate relevant experience and commitment to high-quality paediatric care, reflecting these qualifications in their application.
