Project Accountant with NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership in Cardiff
1. This position provides comprehensive financial management advice, support and information to managers at all levels. The key elements of the post include providing support in the preparation of financial models and outline business cases for significant capital funded projects. 2. Reports and returns will be required to be prepared to monitor the financial position of each of the capital programmes for various stakeholders including Welsh Government. 1. Developing financial plans and forecasts in conjunction with budget holders, clinicians and managers that fit with the strategic direction of the NWSSP, conscious of other stakeholders' interests.2. Financial support to production of business cases for revenue and capital investment and/or service changes and use of financial option appraisal techniques and analyses to provide a sound evidence base for decision making, including robust evaluation of the cross NWSSP implications of cost saving and avoidance plans.3. Provide the financial evaluation for purchases of capital equipment, leases and other service contracts.
