The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a proactive Patient Pathway Administrator to join the Ear, Nose and Throat Administration team at the John Radcliffe Hospital. The successful candidate will provide an efficient clinical administration service, acting as the first point of contact for consultants, nurses, and patients while ensuring high standards of patient care and confidentiality. Key responsibilities include coordinating workflows within the admin team, maintaining consistency in service delivery, and supporting other team members to achieve effective patient management aligned with Trust and national targets, particularly the 18-week pathway.

This role requires a motivated individual who thrives in a busy environment and is equipped to engage with patients, colleagues, and referrers both in person and over the phone. The Patient Pathway Administrator will play a vital role in upholding the department's commitment to quality service, coordinating cover for team members during absences, and escalating issues as needed to ensure smooth operations.

More about the NHS
The National Health Service (NHS) is a cornerstone of healthcare in the United Kingdom, established in 1948 with the simple yet profound principle of providing healthcare to all citizens, free at the point of use. This revolutionary system aimed to ensure that access to medical services would not depend on an individual’s financial situation, a concept that has since become fundamental to British societal values.Learn more...
