Band 7: £46,840 to £53,602 a year per annum  PERMANENT

As the Assistant Head Corporate Reporting you will be a lead point of contact for the Corporate Reporting team and key responsibilities include:1. Senior role for delivering the Finance Directorate Corporate Reporting agenda.

2. Deliver key monthly reporting outputs right first time with supporting commentary, both internally and externally to the organisation.

3. Responsible for the management of the team's work programmes.

Support the Deputy Head of Corporate Reporting to complete external and internal reporting requirements such as Welsh Governmentmonitoring return, Public Board and Sustainable Resources Committee financial reports. Be solely responsible for the completion ofspecific requirements within the submissions. Complete and communicate these reports, either in writing or verbally, upholding the highestprofessional standards due to contents of reporting containing highly politically sensitive information.

Undertake regular reviews of processes within Finance, and project manage the corporate reporting agenda with prioritisation of keyareas, streamlining areas of work and automating manual tasks to improve accuracy and efficiency in the team.

Contribute to the positive culture, governance, and control arrangements of the team through maintaining current working practices and leading the team by example whilst developing and implementing new continuous change improvements.

Manage the finance timetables and support the constructive challenge across all teams of processes, procedures and information in anindependent, unbiased & transparent manner.Lead on the provision of complex analysis including various staff group pay award modelling calculations, macroeconomic inflationaryanalysis and modelling for inclusion in the Health Board annual plan submission, providing the Board with a range of options.
