The Building Facilities Coordinator at NELFT's Jane Atkinson Health and Wellbeing Centre in Walthamstow is responsible for maintaining the facility's infrastructure and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment for staff and service users. Key responsibilities include managing hard and soft services on-site, overseeing maintenance and repair requests, addressing service issues promptly, and contributing to building management decisions. The role also involves ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The position is office-based, requiring Monday to Friday attendance during standard working hours. Aim of the role

The post holder will be responsible for preserving the good condition and infrastructure of the newly built Jane Atkinson Health and Wellbeing Centre (JAHWC) and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning.

The goal is to ensure the JAHWC is problem-free and safe so that staff can work under the best conditions providing quality and efficient services to patients and service users that attend the site.

Take the lead for the management and on-going monitoring of all Hard and Soft services delivered on site to ensure effective delivery. Ensure cleanliness, safety and security of the JAHWC building at all times and report issues to the appropriate team.

To manage, identify and collate requests for minor works on site and subsequently manage the implementation and completion of works to the highest standards. Ensure any service/ maintenance issues receive prompt attention and are resolved within acceptable time parameters and all interested parties are kept fully informed.

Be an active member and contribute to building House Committee decisions regarding building management, develop and implement agreed strategies to support the on-going building maintenance.

Ensure all Health, Safety and Environmental management systems are in place and maintained and that issues identified or reported are managed in line with Trust procedures.
