The South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Band 7 Drama Psychotherapist to join their Wakefield CAMHS Specialised Therapies Team in Castleford. This new role will focus on providing specialist psychotherapy assessments and creative interventions for children, enhancing existing services, and shaping the new provision to meet the needs of young clients. The position is situated within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment that emphasises client-centered care and trauma-informed practices, with opportunities for professional networking, training, and supervision.

The successful applicant will work autonomously within professional guidelines while collaborating with a diverse team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy services. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, providing consultations and training to other professionals, and adhering to safeguarding guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment and a commitment to continuing professional development, all while fostering open communication about client care within the multidisciplinary team.
