Wilson Street Surgery in Derby is seeking a part-time Workflow Co-ordinator and Summariser to work 30 hours per week. The main responsibilities include streamlining clinical correspondence by accurately processing incoming letters, coding key clinical data into patients' electronic records, and ensuring that more complex correspondence is directed to the appropriate clinician when necessary. The role also requires reviewing medical records to summarize patients' medical histories and maintaining organized manual records for easy retrieval by clinical and non-clinical staff.

The successful candidate will be accountable to the Practice Manager and will support the clinical team to achieve high standards of care. This position necessitates strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment, and a commitment to confidentiality and adherence to practice policies. The role involves frequent communication with various healthcare professionals, including doctors and administrative staff, to ensure that correspondence is managed effectively and that patient records are up-to-date.
