The Devon Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner for its Liaison Psychiatry service in Exeter. The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of post-qualifying experience in mental health and will play a crucial role in providing mental health care to patients within the Royal Devon and Exeter University Hospital. This full-time position involves working within a multidisciplinary team, conducting specialist mental health assessments, and developing individualized recovery plans. Candidates from various mental health backgrounds, including Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and Social Workers, are encouraged to apply. The role supports a Core 24 service operating seven days a week, offering ample opportunities for professional development through training and continuing education.

The selected practitioner will be instrumental in responding to referrals, collaborating effectively with colleagues, patients, and their families, and contributing to a supportive and stimulating environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential, as well as a commitment to enhancing the mental health care experience for patients. The trust emphasises the importance of continuous professional growth and offers training opportunities to help staff develop their clinical skills.
