The role of Second Chef at Barchester Healthcare involves assisting the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavorsome, and well-balanced menus for the residents. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with fresh seasonal produce and contribute to delivering high-quality hospitality standards in a care home setting.

As the Second Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, assisting with menu development, working with fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes, creating a warm and efficient environment, working within budget, completing regular audits, and managing stock control. You will have a personable and warm approach, a good understanding of nutrition, and experience working with fresh seasonal food.
