FAMILY HCPC MENTAL HEALTH NHS NMC SOCIAL WORK
The role of a Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) at the Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Crewe involves joining the Children's and Young People's Emergency and Urgent care provision team. The MHP will provide crisis mental health assessments and interventions to children and young people across various settings, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive mental health risk assessments, planning crisis interventions, and ensuring the safeguarding of young people. The service operates 24/7, and although current shifts are 8am-8:30pm, future shifts will expand.

Candidates should possess professional registration (HCPC, Social Work England, or NMC) and relevant clinical experience is desirable but not essential, as ongoing training and development will be provided. Access to transport is necessary for covering the Cheshire and Wirral Partnership footprint.
