The role of Pharmacy Technician - Dispensary & Medicines Management at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital involves working in a busy pharmacy department that provides a comprehensive pharmaceutical service across the Trust. Candidates should either be established Pharmacy Technicians looking for a new challenge or newly registered individuals ready to enhance their skills. Responsibilities include dispensing and distributing medications based on clinically checked prescriptions, managing controlled drugs, maintaining stock records, and providing medicines management services on specified wards. Successful candidates will undergo training and assessment to develop the competencies required for clinical roles and will have opportunities to gain additional skills such as drug history taking and patient counseling. The position requires full-time commitment, including participation in a weekend rota.
