The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a self-motivated Staff Nurse/Theatre Practitioner for their Pain Management Service in Wythenshawe. This Band 5 role involves providing comprehensive care for patients throughout their day case journey, including pre-operative assessment, perioperative care, recovery, and discharge planning. Candidates should ideally have experience in an acute care setting, theatre, or recovery, and must possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care. The successful applicant will receive a competency-based training program and will be expected to take on responsibilities such as coordinating clinical areas, administering medications, and ensuring accurate patient documentation.
