The Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust is seeking a Support Typist to join their Eldercare admin team in Truro. This role involves providing essential administrative and typing support under the direction of a Medical Secretary or Team Coordinator. Key responsibilities include managing and processing phone calls, maintaining patient confidentiality, producing clinical correspondence using Word and Excel, and utilizing Trust Information Systems to create documents and reports. The position also requires accurate transcription of dictation, sorting and prioritizing mail, coordinating the retrieval and return of hospital case notes, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and guidelines.

Candidates will be involved in communicating with patients, carers, and health professionals, and may need to arrange hospital transport as needed. Applicants must successfully complete identity, professional registration, employment history checks, Occupational Health clearance, and a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
