Would you like to join our existing small and friendly housekeeping team at Cirencester Hospital?
We are looking for someone to cover cleaning and catering across the hospital to ensure a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for our patients, their families and the wider team working on site.
The housekeeping role is an essential part of the day to day running of the hospital and ensures our patients and their families experience a high quality service.
You'll be part of a great team of 30 housekeepers and porters, supported by 3 Supervisors and our Facilities Managers on site.
Cirencester Hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services, a Minor Injuries Unit and x-ray and ultrasound services, occupational therapy and physiotherapy. The hospital supports 49 inpatient beds across two wards.

We pride ourselves on providing a clean environment for our patients and colleagues, this role involves carrying out the daily cleaning schedule as well as additional cleaning duties as required.
You will work alongside patients, colleagues and other visitors to our site; being professional and ensuring that you are working within the Trust Values and policies.
This role also involves delivering patient meals and drinks on our inpatient wards.
A full induction and training as well as ongoing in house supervision will be provided.
The working hours are as follows:
Monday 6.00 until 9.00am
Tuesday 6.00-9.00
Wednesday 6.00 -9.00
Thursday Off Day
Friday 6.00 -10.00
Saturday and Sunday 8.30 -2.30 - working alternate weekend days, Sat one week Sun the other.
