The role of Clerical Officer for District Nurses with the Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust involves supporting the transition of electronic patient records from ECR and RiO to EMIS, specifically for the District Nursing Service in the Central & West Network. The successful candidates will work closely with the community admin hubs that support the District Nursing teams in Preston and Chorley & South Ribble, requiring flexibility to address varying administrative needs as directed by their line manager.

Candidates should possess a good educational background, including qualifications in English and Maths, alongside strong computer and general administration skills. Previous experience in dealing with patients and excellent interpersonal skills are vital for this role, which includes responsibilities such as managing phone communications, coordinating activities with other team members, and providing comprehensive administrative support across the locality's Physical Health teams. A standard DBS disclosure will also be required.
