Are you ready for a new challenge as one of the Physiotherapists/Occupational therapists driving Therapy Services forward within the new £47 million Urgent Emergency Care Centre which is aiming to be open to the public in April 2024, ensuring the value of Therapy is embedded from the beginning?
We are looking for an experienced and driven Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with experience in a broad range of conditions who will support, advocate and lead therapy within the Front door services including Emergency Department, Same Day Emergency Care, frailty unit and the Short stay unit. The successful candidate will support the team with the overall caseload and lead on development for therapy at the front door.
The team provides a 7 day, 08:00 - 20:00 service, in our Front Door services. This post will work closely with our existing Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy leaders to provide clinical leadership and consistency within the new build Urgent and Emergency Care Centre.
To complete holistic and comprehensive therapy assessments.
To lead on the development of the therapy services provided by the therapy team.
To provide day to day leadership to the therapy team.
To lead service improvement projects independently and jointly with the team
