The role of Band 5 Rotational Speech and Language Therapist at Barnet Hospital, under the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated therapist to work with adult patients in an acute healthcare setting. The position involves joining a supportive and experienced Speech and Language Therapy team, allowing the development of specialist skills in dysphagia and communication disorders through a comprehensive rotational program.

The primary responsibilities include the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adult inpatients with various speech and language challenges, maintaining accurate records and creating evidence-based treatment plans. The therapist will also engage in continuous professional development, contribute to audits, and actively manage their workload while supporting junior staff as necessary. Participation in the bank holiday rota is also required.
