The role of Named Nurse Child Protection at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust entails joining the safeguarding children's team within the 0-25 Family Health Service in County Durham. The ideal candidate must be a registered nurse with extensive experience and knowledge in safeguarding children, ideally from community or acute service backgrounds. Responsibilities include providing leadership in safeguarding practices, collaborating closely with various professionals, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The post-holder will play a pivotal role in enhancing safeguarding services, contributing to planning and performance management, and supporting the training needs of the wider safeguarding team.
