The Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual for the role of Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician in Chelmsford. This full-time position offers the chance to train for two years while completing a formal education program leading to professional registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). The role involves practical training across various pharmacy departments, collecting evidence for a portfolio, and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to manage medication supplies and support patient healthcare.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 4 GCSEs (grades A*-C or 9-4), including English, Maths, and a Science subject. The role requires strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work independently. It also necessitates a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for site visits. The successful applicant will begin in February 2025, with a commitment to studying for the Certificate of Higher Education in Pharmacy Technician Practice through the University of East Anglia.
