The successful candidates will work independently within a host GP practice, supported remotely by the Herts Health team. Responsibilities include assessing and treating approximately five patients per hour for various minor illnesses, developing treatment plans to facilitate community management, and utilizing the EMIS Clinical System to signpost or refer patients for follow-up services and investigations as needed.
We are looking for passionate locum GPs to join our team and provide crucial winter capacity for patients with minor illnesses, from ages 0 and up. You will play a key role in reducing A&E attendance and supporting our vision of establishing a long-term minor illness hub in our community.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, in an area with pockets of deprivation, by providing access to care closer to home.
You will be confident to work independently within this role; providing thorough assessment and treatment of patients from the age of 0 and up; to assess and treat a variety of minor illness. Appointments will be booked by 111 and local GP practices. Clinical System EMIS.

You will be working independently within a host GP practice with a remote line in to the support team at Herts Health.
You will see, assess and treat 5 patients per hour presenting with minor illness; providing treatment plans to support patients to manage minor illness within the community.
Where appropriate you will signpost and/or refer patients to follow up services and order investigations using the EMIS Clinical System.
