The Lead Pharmacy Technician Dispensary & Procurement Manager at the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Stafford will oversee the Procurement Technicians and Pharmacy Support workers within the procurement team. This role involves developing procurement services, leading the dispensary team at St Georges Hospital, and ensuring compliant and efficient medicine supply and advice services. The successful candidate will have opportunities for professional development, including training in PRINCE 2 and the Mental Health Therapeutics PgCert, while also being supported to achieve Accuracy Checking certification if not already held.

In addition to leading the team and managing procurement operations, the role requires effective communication with pharmaceutical wholesalers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders regarding the supply of medicines. The manager will also participate in regional procurement meetings and contribute to the strategic improvement of dispensary services within the Trust. This position demands a proactive approach to mentoring staff, coordinating procurement activities, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency in medication management.
