Livewell Southwest is seeking an experienced Deputy Ward Manager for Cotehele Ward in Plymouth, a 10-bedded unit dedicated to caring for patients aged over 65 who are experiencing acute mental health challenges. The role requires candidates to have at least two years of experience in a band 6 nursing position and involves shift work across a 24-hour period. As a key member of the ward's senior team, the Deputy Ward Manager will provide clinical leadership, manage nursing staff, and oversee patient care planning and implementation. The position also includes responsibilities for staff supervision, teaching, and fostering strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient care.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong managerial and organisational skills, along with a commitment to enhancing patient experiences within acute care settings.
