MATERNITY MENTAL HEALTH MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NEONATAL NHS
The Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Principal Clinical Psychologist to join the South Staffordshire Perinatal and Maternal Mental Service, which supports expectant and new mothers facing moderate to severe mental health issues during the perinatal period. This role involves providing high-quality clinical psychology services to women, babies, and families, leading psychological provision, and enhancing service delivery within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team. The position includes overseeing assessments and therapies conducted by other psychologists and clinical team members, ensuring adherence to professional guidelines, and contributing to the development of the psychology service.

Candidates should possess strong leadership skills and a creative approach to support the aims of the service, which has strong connections with other perinatal services and local DClinPsy courses. The successful candidate will be expected to travel within the South Staffordshire area, with flexible and hybrid working options available. The role also provides opportunities for training and consultation with partner agencies, as well as involvement in service development initiatives.
