An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and highly skilled nurse to join the healthcare team within Jerseys prison service as the team manager in the healthcare department. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in practicing within a secure or restricted environment with a sound understand of security measures and needs within a prison.
Manage the day-to-day provision of HMP La Moye healthcare requirements, including policy formulation and implementation. To provide clinical support and participate in some clinical duties. The development and provision of services and staffing and budgetary controls, effective assessment and care planning process that includes Assessment, Care planning, review, and the safeguarding of Adults and children.
As a member of the Health and Community Services, contribute to the development and implementation of policy and strategy. To work towards full compliance with core fidelity standards.
The post holder will work within HM Inspectorate of Prisons framework, ensuring that they, as part of a team, meet the expectations as laid out in the framework and help deliver the best outcome for prisoners. The post holder will partake in commissioning activity such as negotiation, design and review of service level agreements.
