Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Steps to Recovery Service at Hertford House in Olton. This role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support male service users with severe and enduring mental illnesses, many of whom have complex needs and a history of multiple admissions. Key responsibilities include developing personalized care programs to facilitate engagement in recovery-based activities, conducting specific occupational therapy assessments, and enhancing independent living skills to aid users in transitioning back to their homes or securing suitable accommodations.
