Do you have the expertise to lead Health, Safety, and Environmental practices in a healthcare setting?
BPAS are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Manager to join us on a six-month interim basis. Working full time, over Monday to Friday with a hybrid arrangement between home, Head Office & units as required.
The Role
You will act as BPAS's expert on Health, Safety, & Environmental matters, developing & implementing policies that comply with current legislation & reflect best practices. You'll lead risk management activities, and provide guidance on incident & compliance audits. You'll oversee environmental compliance initiatives & contribute to our ongoing efforts to provide a safe & sustainable work environment.
You'll also support the Health & Safety Officer in their apprenticeship, helping to guide their development & ensuring they gain valuable experience in line with their training objectives.
About You
You'll have a degree or equivalent experience in Health & Safety, accompanied by a recognised qualification, with the ability to obtain IOSH membership. Your expertise includes managing HS&E practices within clinical settings, writing organisational policies, & conducting risk assessments. You'll bring excellent problem-solving skills, a strategic approach, & the confidence to provide leadership on safety matters to senior stakeholders.

Hybrid working home working with travel to Head office in Leamington spa for meetings & team days when required. There will also be travel to BPAS units nationwide as needed.

Salary
: £46,260 - £60,130 depending on skills and experience
Contract:
6 month fixed term contract
Hours:
Full time - 36 per week
