Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is offering a full-time, two-year apprenticeship for a Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician in Carshalton. This position provides valuable multi-sector experience through involvement in both NHS Managed and community services at Sutton Health and Care. Trainees will work closely with pharmacy teams, contributing to patient care while undergoing comprehensive training that includes ward-based medicines management, dispensary work, and clinical outpatient pharmacy.

The apprenticeship combines practical, work-based activities for four days a week with one day dedicated to virtual classroom sessions, focusing on the knowledge necessary for completing a Level 3 diploma accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Graduates of this program will be eligible for registration as a Pharmacy Technician and must be prepared for self-study at home alongside their work commitments. Strong organisational skills are essential to balance study and full-time work.
