This is a temporary bank nurse role with Elysium Healthcare, a large and established healthcare provider with over 90 services across England and Wales. The role is based at The Copse in Weston Super Mare, providing rehabilitation for men and women with mental health conditions. The bank nurse will have the flexibility to choose their own shifts, with the option to progress into a permanent role in the future.

As a Bank Nurse, you will provide high-quality evidence-based support to service users in our care, and work as part of the team, supporting colleagues and always putting the needs of service users first. You'll have the flexibility to choose the shifts you want to work, with weekday, nights and weekend shifts regularly available. The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. You'll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to work the shifts that fit around your lifestyle.

As a Nurse on our Bank, there is no minimum number of hours you’ll be required to work, though it is recommended to work as often as you can to keep your knowledge and familiarity with the service at a good level.

Weekday, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you’ll have the nursing shifts secured that you want. There is the potential future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the area.

Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits.

Where you will be working

Location: The Copse,BeechmountClose, Weston Super Mare, Somerset, United Kingdom BS24 9EX You will be working at The Copse, providing rehabilitation for men and women with mental health conditions who require a medium-term placement, focusing on active rehabilitation in order to progress into future community placements. Working as part of a team, you will support service users to maintain links with family and friends, gain opportunities and prepare for community living. Service Users typically come from either acute or low secure hospitals, or directly from the community
