MENTAL HEALTH MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NHS VEHICLE
The Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Specialist Mental Health Clinical Pharmacist to join their dynamic team in Chelmsford. This role, available at Band 6 or Band 7 levels, offers an opportunity for professional growth, including access to a new psychopharmacology teaching program and funded postgraduate qualifications. Responsibilities include providing clinical pharmacy services to enhance patient care, supporting multi-disciplinary teams during ward rounds, and participating in training and audits across various units. Applicants should be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and may come from diverse backgrounds, including newly qualified pharmacists and those transitioning from different sectors.

The position requires regular dispensary shifts and travel, making a driver’s license essential. Band 7 candidates should have at least two years of post-registration experience and advanced clinical skills, while Band 6 applicants can be newly qualified. The role emphasises collaborative work within a clinical team and aims to improve the safe and effective use of medications for patients with mental illness, ensuring they receive comprehensive support and education regarding their treatment.
