The Theatre Audit Clerk at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust in Canterbury is responsible for managing clinical audit projects within the Operating Theatre. Key duties include collecting and inputting data for mandatory and national audits, presenting findings to the Theatre Matron, and collating data for local audits. The role also involves assisting in the design of new audits, offering guidance to clinical teams on audit methodologies, and ensuring compliance with the audit cycle.

Additionally, the post holder will perform administration tasks related to the audit program, such as monitoring audit stages, communicating progress with stakeholders, and assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations. The role requires adherence to infection control policies, annual training related to patient care, and occasional data collection at other sites as needed.
