Band 4: £26,530 to £29,114 a year per annum  PERMANENT 

1. Accurately transcribe all correspondence by touch typing from audio/digital dictation or shorthand using knowledge of medical terminology. Generate routine and non-routine correspondence independently

2. To develop, implement and maintain office systems to enable the Governance Team to operate smoothly and effectively, this will include developing and maintaining databases and office procedures information

3. Use of e-mail, electronic diaries, intranet/internet, word processing

4. Providing general clerical duties including filing and photocopying

5. Working on projects as directed by the Governance Manager

6. Arranging a variety of meetings, workshops and presentations

An opportunity has arisen for a Divisional Governance Administrator to join the Women's & Children's Divisional Governance Team. The division consists of maternity, gynecology and paediatrics. The team is well established and has recently been reviewed by the CQC, the inspection rating was 'good'.

You will need to be self-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will take pride in your work, be highly motivated, professional, and have good organisational skills with an excellent attention to detail.

This is a busy role and the workload is varied as we need to respond to changing deadlines so you must be adaptable, have a flexible approach and have the ability to interact with all departments and posts at all levels within the organisation.

You will be expected to provide a comprehensive range of secretarial, clerical & administrative functions to the W&C Divisional Governance Team including the production of accurate agendas, minutes, reports and presentations.

You will also support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH's 'PRIDE' values of People focused, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence.
